People who use those excuses KNOW they are in the wrong, but choose to hide behind those excuses. Its cowardice- and the people who hide behind those excuses are the same types that ran the death camps, populated the Gestapo & made up the KGB, the FBI, the Chinese MSS & every other abusive agency man has ever established.

One thing about the Stacey mask issue...
The reason she was at the school was to promote her children's book.
She has been on a tour around the country to promote the book. It has been a part of her campaign.
I think it was something she was using to present herself to the electorate as safe and warm and fuzzy, not the crazy leftist lady
They realized with the release of that picture that their plan may backfire.
Pics of her with crowds of masked kids is not the look that voters want to see
I find it fascinating that they doubled down on masking afterwards.
It will be interesting to see what happens going forward
