Give me liberty or give me death. How many on the other side will they lose trying to make us submit? I’m ready to make them find out.

As a NYer, 9/11 is a really hard day, for many reasons. I can not believe 20 years ago today, was the day the world changed forever for so many people. It certainly changed my life forever. I used to sit every day on Staten Island and look across the water at the towers and marvel at them. I used to work in Downtown Manhattan blocks away from the World Trade Center. It’s just crazy.

Remember the horrific attack on our way of life that day. Don’t forget those who were forced to choose between being trapped in the towers which would ultimately collapse into their own footprint, or jumping to their death. The images will never leave me. I know so many first responders - including Pat Triola, a NYC police officer and a man I’ve called my uncle since I was a kid. He was a big part of getting the Zadroga bill passed to support those with health issues from the Whitmer approved “clean air”. They always tell you the truth, eh?

The country came together that day. Not against a common enemy - no one had any idea who the actual enemy was. We came together because it was a different time, and we cared about our fellow countrymen. Remember that love. We need it back.

God bless all of those who lost someone or was affected by the tragedy. God bless our first responders who ran towards while everyone else was running away. God bless the resilience of the American Patriot. Say an extra prayer today. 20 years ago today, everything changed for everyone. There are still people who don’t realize why. 🙏

Tom Burnett, 38, told his wife, “We’re all going to die. There’s three of us who are going to do something about it.”

Only three....

The last words Jeremy Glick, 31, said to his spouse were, “We’re going to rush the hijackers.” But it was Todd Beamer, 32, connected with a GTE supervisor while attempting to reach his pregnant wife, who calmly and decisively uttered the iconic phrase: “Are you guys ready? Let’s roll.”

I was home doing house work when I got a call from my sister to turn on the news just after the first plane hit. I don't know if there are words enough to describe that day watching in horror and waiting in fear what would happen next, where, how many, what do I do? My heart crushed in pain when the first tower fell. My children coming home from school finding me weeping and trying to find the words to not scare them but to impart the magnitude of what had happened. I will never forget. I had hoped then it was a turning point for our country toward something better but here we are. Are you guys ready? Let’s roll....
This fucking piece of shit should have stayed home. 👇

Coming from the president who allowed 3,000 Americans to be murdered on this date 20 years ago, and used it as an excuse to launch 20 years of wars.

Fuck You, W. 👇
