President Biden has spoken to ZERO other world leaders since Kabul fell to the Taliban, Jake Sullivan says.
A photo of a school in #Afghanistan closed due to security issues. The students showed up bright and early anyway.

Teachers said goodbye to their female students who won’t be allowed to go to school anymore. A numbing helpless feeling. https://t.co/D6HiurPFKS
Two things we've learned from this press briefing - 1) The President has not spoken with any other world leaders since Kabul fell; 2) The WH will not firmly commit to ensuring the safe departure of every American from Afghanistan. Remarkable.
Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki can’t offer any guarantee that all Americans will be evacuated from Afghanistan https://t.co/0XKueyBXCg
A congressional aide tells @CBSNews we have no partners left in Afghanistan to safely get Americans in-country to Kabul. “There are 10-15k AmCits who still need to get out, and that obviously doesn’t include the tens of thousands of SIVs or P2 applicants trying to get out of Afg”
The Biden Administration has left 10,000 U.S. citizens stranded in Afghanistan AT THE SAME TIME that it's already got Fort McCoy ready for "processing" Afghan refugees in Wisconsin.

What does that tell you?
One reaction to the WH push to rebrand people desperately fleeing for their lives and that of their families as Afghan patriots who turned down the chance to leave because they wanted to stay and help longer https://t.co/1RqGkXLxJS https://t.co/5pnmCnYXqB

I will be putting out a lot of information this week to help those of you wanting to make your own analysis or judgments about what is happening on the foreign policy and domestic policy stages. I do believe our nation is in a state of crisis, the majority of Americans see it and certainly are feeling it, but crisis doesn’t equate to hopelessness. We’re stronger banded together during extraordinary times when extraordinary leaders step up. We have extraordinary leaders stepping up all over the country and taking far greater responsibility in their local communities than ever before. Find them, encourage them and support them. God Bless America 🙏🏼🇺🇸

Inside this OPED: “While demonstrating weakness with our enemies, the administration becomes more ruthless with our own US Citizens. I get the sense that there is no federal power that Biden-Harris will not abuse to suppress political opposition.”

I want to commend Joe Pags for having the courage to allow me to speak honestly about the vaccine and early therapeutic treatment for COVID-19 on his national radio show. There are few hosts willing to allow this information to get to the general public, Show Joe some love!!! https://www.twitch.tv/joepags

It was always a foregone conclusion that the Taliban would take control after the US left Afghanistan. But it was not inevitable that America's withdrawal had to be an international embarrassment. It turned out that way because America no longer does real diplomacy.

The Afghan government was crooked. Everyone on the ground knew it. The regime was stealing money while letting the countryside crumble. Pres. Ghani refused to step aside, and the Afghani military appeared vacillating.

Instead of forcing Pres. Ghani to accept the inevitable Taliban takeover, America's diplomats foolishly called on the Taliban to accept the Ghani regime. That was never going to happen.

Six months ago, the US had real negotiating power. It had boots and military equipment on the ground, and it was bankrolling the Ghani administration. America had bargaining chips.

But instead of negotiating, the US made a series of unrealistic ultimatums focused on fantastical ideological goals. Worse still, the US failed to back any of its ideological demands and allowed Ghani to sabotage talks.

Ultimately, the US gave up and failed to play the strong diplomatic hand it had. The Afghanistan exit turned out ugly not because America was powerless to stop it, but because America no longer does real diplomacy.
