Because this is a clear contrast to their own negligence, incompetence, failure. These men & the US Military have gone back to their core mission & are changing the world for the better.
McChrystal, Mattis & McRaven had the chance to do so too- but their incompetence, negligence, ego & insubordination led to the disasters in Iraq & Afghanistan.
Jealousy is a hell of a thing. A US Army Manor & combat veteran now Secretary of War & the political outsider now President shaping the world even more consequentially than maybe Ronald Reagan.
It highlights just what total failures men like McChrystal, Mattis, McRaven & Milley are.
