To everyone that offered up a prayer, i want to take a moment and say a heartfelt, sincere THANK YOU.
Teddy was evaluated today by his long-time vet, Dr E, who put him through a full physical, neurological exam and eye exam. Our primary concern was eye pressure due to glaucoma, or something dangerous neurologically.
Dr E says Teddy is has normal blood pressure, normal eye pressure, NO EVIDENCE OF GLAUCOMA, no neurological symptoms, and even normal clouding of the eye due to his age.
The official diagnosis is weakening of the internal eye muscles causing the eyes to not contract and constrict the pupils as is normal. He shows no hypersensitivity to light has has close to normal vision.
In short, he has a rare condition that effects the eye muscles, but no other health issues.
