Pardon me for interrupting party unity, but Chief Warrant Officer 5 James Harris, longest serving aviator in Army history and a Vietnam cobra pilot, goes on record to state no Army aircraft were returned to Vietnam from any US base including Korea from March ‘73 to 1975.

In the photo attached, Chief Harris is with Cobra “Mean Mr Mustard,” the same said candidate has a photo with from Korea. The original was shot down in ‘72 in Vietnam and cost two American lives, and the aircraft named in its honor never left Korea.
