He says he called on both sides to respect the ceasefire and extend it to include security guarantees for Lebanon.

Navka (Навка)

Navka is a malevolent spirit in Slavic folklore—another name for the soul of an unbaptized or stillborn child, closely related to Mavka and Igosha. The name comes from "nav," meaning the realm of the dead.

She appears as a beautiful little girl with long pale hair, but her back is hollow or missing entirely, revealing her organs or simply an empty cavity. In some regions, she has no shadow and casts no reflection.

Navka dwells in forests, fields, and sometimes near graveyards. She is most dangerous during the green week (after Pentecost) and on Kupala night.

Her character is cruel and predatory. Unlike the sorrowful Mavka, Navka feels no remorse. She lures children and young men into the wilderness, makes them dance until they collapse, then tickles or scratches them to death. She cannot cry and cannot be saved by prayer—only by naming her and performing a proper Christian burial for her remains.

Protection requires iron, wormwood, or a cross. Never follow a child's voice calling from the forest. If you encounter Navka, speak her true name and bless her—this may bind her long enough for you to escape.

One of those sentenced to life imprisonment over the Crocus terror attack has taken his own life

37-year-old Tajik-born Yusufzoda Yakubjoni Davlatkhon was taken to hospital and doctors tried to stabilize him, but he died.

He was convicted in the case of the Crocus City Hall terror attack and received a life sentence for involvement in financing the crime.
