“I am from that exact place and we kind of predicted that, but nobody took us serious. In the past 3 weeks people have flooded the region coming mostly from Italy. Some of them got sick and walked in straight into ER at that hospital. A couple of days ago the hospital proudly announced that a new and faster testing method is available. Until then they had to send the samples 200km away. Now... Everything is a mess. The head doctor from that hospital called in this morning all the staff(infected, tested, confirmed or not) in one room and didn’t show up. Later today it was confirmed that he was positive too and resigned.”

Romania 🇷🇴: Total quarantine to be enacted in Romania as of tomorrow: persons will only be allowed to leave their houses to buy basic necessities, to work (where approved) and for utter emergencies.

Persons over 65 years of age are no longer allowed to leave their houses under any circumstances.

The total quarantine period will be in force for an undetermined period of time.

The army will support the police in the implementation and maintenance of the aforementioned measures.
