People have been asking about the photo I posted recently of me crawling on our lawn. I've been adding crawling to my daily movement regimen, and here's why (this eloquent explanation is from our Primal Movement coach, Pat Daly, who is part of our New Biology Clinic):

"The reason we crawl is in order to reconnect with one of our most fundamental movement patterns. It is innate in all of us as babies to go onto our stomachs to scoot, and then eventually crawl. When we crawl, we're enforcing the natural curvature of the spine and all of its ranges of motion. With each crawl forward, our hands and feet connect with the earth, obtaining its charge. When the body is in a flow state, moving the way it was perfectly designed to, I put on the table that we are able to absorb earth's charge more efficiently, while also giving our energy back to the earth. Think AC battery."
