The Zeche Zollern museum in Dortmund has prohibited white people from entering its ‘This is Colonialism’ exhibit on Saturdays, so a “safe space” for non-whites can be reserved, the venue says.

The exhibition has been open for a number of months, but a scandal emerged recently when a white journalist from a radio station was forbidden from entering.

“The affected people can be themselves and talk among themselves… discuss a topic for oneself and with oneself and then just be free from other people," said Barbara Rüschoff-Parzinger of the Department of Culture for the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe.

The Dutch government has handed billions in rebates to large companies at the expense of small and medium-sized firms, a climate action group has warned.

“From shipping (€6.7bn) to aviation (€2.4bn) and from fossil electricity (€5.4bn) to the oil processing industry (€2.4bn), large consumers receive rebates, tax breaks, exemptions, or favourable tax rates,” the SOMO group stated.

Even the eco-mob were forced to admit this was unfair as “small and medium-sized companies usually pay full price for their gas and electricity consumption,” while big corporations get discounts, they said.

The group then called for an end to all subsidies.

Better idea: Subsidise working people and small companies and don't give in to expensive, impractical green energy?

The Department of Foreign Affairs has spent almost €117,000 on VIP services at Dublin airport in the last 18 months - all while people struggle to make ends meet and the country wrestles with accommodation issues.

Bureaucrats lapped up personalised check-ins and security, fancy suites for relaxation, drinks and dining, and a chauffeur-driven car to and from the airport, Independent IE revealed.

Two separate bills of €8,778 were ran up while welcoming US President Biden to the country earlier in 2023, and a similar-sized bill was found for a delegation to meet Spanish President Pedro Sanchez’s in August.

The department has defended the spending, saying that “the use of airport VIP facilities mitigates risks” and “ensures discretion,” adding it had been able to get a “preferential rate” for the services.

They’re laughing in the faces of the public.
