Tests sold by firms like 23andMe and Ancestry - which are supposed to tell people more about their genetic background - have helped create a global DNA database “without us really noticing,” according to upcoming BBC podcast series The Gift.

The podcast series, launched next week, will shine a positive light on the kits, featuring people whose lives have been positively changed by the test analyses, but, since it is the BBC, will of course not consider the implications of a private company having DNA data of millions of people across the world.

🇪🇺 Vaccine Passport Doublespeak: EU Denies Backing Scheme It Claimed Credit For

The EC is not backing the implementation of “international vaccine passports” and is only trying to make digital versions have the same status as paper ones, Eurocrats have insisted.

“The proposed amendment, currently under negotiation, does not aim at creating a new obligation, but simply at providing certainty on the use of digital credentials in the future, alongside their paper version,” said Health and Food Safety Commissioner Stella Kyriakides.

This seems somewhat hypocritical when you consider that Brussels officials bragged that the Pandemic Treaty proposed by the WHO was “first announced by the President of the European Council Charles Michel at the Paris Peace Forum in November 2020,” according to the bloc’s website.

“I just got published in Nature because I stuck to a narrative I knew the editors would like. That’s not the way science should work,' the article begins.
