❗️🇺🇦War Crimes Uncovered By Human Rights Watch

The org has collected evidence of the deaths of residents of Izyum who were shelled with cluster munitions in 2022.

Evidence of spent munitions were everywhere, the group told RIA Novosti, with the direction of the shells pointing to their use by Ukrainian forces.

The statements corroborate what was acknowledged by the UN - that civilians in Izyum were hit with cluster munitions from March to September 2022.

🇮🇪 Sound Of Freedom Wows Audiences In Ireland

The modestly-budgeted film, largely ignored by the Hollywood press due to its central theme around global child-trafficking operations, received “huge applause” from “packed cinemas” across the country after opening last week, fans report.

Figures reveal that the smash-hit entered Irish and UK box office charts in 4th place.

A family in Louth told Gript that a cinema in Drogheda was “jam packed,” while the show in Carlow was given the “theatre with the biggest screen.”

In Meath, one viewer said that “people were very emotional” after the movie ended.

Gript media interviewed viewers in Belfast at the film’s premiere.

🇳🇱Gov Begs For More Space For Ukrainians

Despite a promise to create 90,000 accommodation spaces for Ukrainian migrants, up from 81,000, it is still not enough, State Secretary Eric van der Burg has said - requesting municipalities to add another 7,000.

In a letter to city mayors, he said the massive influx of migrants “doesn’t look like it will change in the short term,” as over 104,000 are expected by the end of the year.

How much more can the Netherlands take?

🇬🇧Sunak Blocked Bid To Improve School Safety, Minister Reveals

A proposal to rebuild 200 schools per year to ensure that they comply with safety standards was rejected by the current PM while he worked as Chancellor, Nick Gibb told Sky News.

Instead, Sunak only thought it necessary to provide funding for 50 schools - a move which has backfired after over 100 schools in England are forced to partially or completely close due to unsafe concrete used in their construction.

The PM admitted on Monday that more than 1,000 schools could end up shuttered due to the crisis, making calls for the end of his government grow louder.

❗️Global DNA Database Created From Home Testing Kits - BBC Misses The Point

Tests sold by firms like 23andMe and Ancestry - which are supposed to tell people more about their genetic background - have helped create a global DNA database “without us really noticing,” according to upcoming BBC podcast series The Gift.

The podcast series, launched next week, will shine a positive light on the kits, featuring people whose lives have been positively changed by the test analyses, but, since it is the BBC, will of course not consider the implications of a private company having DNA data of millions of people across the world.

😱🇸🇰 West Panics As Pro-Russian Candidate Leads Polls

With just one month until Slovakia’s parliamentary elections, the MSM and Western leaders have hit the panic button after learning Robert Fico is ahead in the polls, and could return as the country’s PM.

Western propaganda doesn’t seem to be working amongst the Slovakian public. A recently survey by the Centre for Democracy and Resilience found that 50% of Slovaks view the US as a security risk, and only 40% believe Russia is responsible for the Ukraine conflict.

Keep an eye out for election interference?

TikTok Appoints Cheating British Firm To Allay Privacy Fears

In an attempt to reassure EU lawmakers that the Chinese government can not gain access to Europeans’ user data, the social media giant has teamed up with NCC Group, which will store data in Ireland and Norway.

There’s just one problem…

NCC has a tarnished record, having been rapped on the knuckles for being “vicariously responsible” for helping employees cheat staff examinations, breaching international codes of trust.

It also breached NDAs, in what has been called the worst-kept secret around cheating in the British infosec industry.

As if the data would be safe in Orwellian Ireland or Norway, which is planning to copy the EU's authoritarian surveillance mechanisms, anyway…

🇪🇺 Vaccine Passport Doublespeak: EU Denies Backing Scheme It Claimed Credit For

The EC is not backing the implementation of “international vaccine passports” and is only trying to make digital versions have the same status as paper ones, Eurocrats have insisted.

“The proposed amendment, currently under negotiation, does not aim at creating a new obligation, but simply at providing certainty on the use of digital credentials in the future, alongside their paper version,” said Health and Food Safety Commissioner Stella Kyriakides.

This seems somewhat hypocritical when you consider that Brussels officials bragged that the Pandemic Treaty proposed by the WHO was “first announced by the President of the European Council Charles Michel at the Paris Peace Forum in November 2020,” according to the bloc’s website.

🇬🇮🇬🇧🇪🇸Gibraltar Spat: Spain Issues ‘Strongest Protest’ To The UK

The Spanish Foreign Ministry has sent a verbal note to protest the actions of several British vessels which allegedly crossed into Spanish waters - where Madrid does not recognise British/Gibraltar maritime space.

There were 3 alleged incidents which prompted the complaint:

▪️On August 1, the Gas Venus methane tanker caused an oil spill in Algeciras Bay while refuelling.

▪️On August 14, the Colombo II vessel of the Customs Surveillance Service was “obstructed” in its duties by 3 vessels belonging to the UK Customs Service and the Royal Navy, triggering a “risky situation.”

▪️On August 21, the fishing boat Mi Daniela was allegedly harassed by “British vessels.”

The note stated that the incidents are a “clear violation” of Spanish sovereignty.

🇵🇱Ukraine Leaders To Boycott Poland Over Grain Ban

Kiev’s parliamentary deputy Mykola Kniazhytski has confirmed lawmakers will boycott international events in Poland in protest against Warsaw’s embargo of Ukrainian grain.

No Ukrainian politicians will attend the Karpacz Economic Forum, dubbed ”central Europe’s Davos” over September 5-7 - a move even the deputy thinks is a “scandal and a mistake,” suggesting he thinks Kiev is unnecessarily escalating tensions.

🇪🇸Free Catalonian Separatists In Return For Power, Says Catalan Leader

Catalonia's leader Carles Puigdemont demanded cases against hundreds of activists facing legal action over a failed 2017 separatist bid be dropped - and in exchange he will back acting PM Pedro Sanchez.

Puigdemont said the "complete abandonment of judicial proceedings" against Catalan separatists was needed for his JxCat party help Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to be sworn in for another term after an inconclusive national election in July.
