UK police believe a retired social worker caused ‘harassment and alarm’ after taking a snap of a sticker which read “keep males out of women-only spaces.”

The sticker had been placed on top of a poster in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, which read “stand by your trans,” but when the 73-year-old recorded it on her phone, police documented it as a hate incident and turned up at her home several days later.

“They gave me a long lecture about the sensitivity of the issue. They were investigating it as a hate crime, which is outrageous. I was in a state of shock,” the pensioner, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of reprisal by trans activists, said. (Telegraph)
