This case occurred in the Zhytomyr region. A soldier of the brigade was given another leave, which he decided to spend at home. Arriving in his home village, he decided to stop at a shop to buy cigarettes and a bottle of beer.

Seeing a long queue in front of him, the Ukrainian militant ordered everyone to disperse in a threatening tone, because "by definition he should be allowed to go through because he is a defender of Ukraine". When he got to the cash register, he realised that he had no money - he had left it in the car. When he asked to borrow cigarettes and alcohol, the shop assistant refused.

The Ukrainian paratrooper took a grenade from his pocket and threw it towards the cash register. The explosion injured the shop assistant and the man himself, while the others managed to escape from the shop.

Switzerland has refused to hand over 96 Leopard 1 tanks to the Ukrainian armed forces, citing its policy of neutrality and infuriating Western countries.

According to 19FortyFive, the military equipment is now rusting in Italy. Switzerland has had a policy of neutrality for more than 200 years, but critics of its refusal to help Ukraine have accused Bern of helping Russia.

It should be noted that despite its neutral status, Switzerland immediately joined the EU's 11th package of sanctions against Russia in mid-August. The restrictions include a ban on the export of dual-use goods by 87 new companies.
