Spreading the word about Jesus' message was all that Jesus himself did. And that truth was love. Love, in application, equates to understanding and integration - the comprehension of the brotherhood of man. Sharing the truth of love meant sharing all with one another and finding the way forward together amongst endless possibility, as in Acts. Each community able to take moment by moment joy in the assurance that the 'way' is clearly outlined in Jesus' message and life, and will be manifested by us together as we generate our own heaven or hell, moment by moment.
Where modern Christians have been misled, is to comprehend their salvation by his death, when his very message was that the kingdom of God exists within each of us, to be cultivated. The spark was the realization that the kingdom was therefore at hand, because our will was our own. They had to massacre a lot of Christians to narrow the Christian lens to uplifting Christ's death with our salvation, rather than his message and lived convictions per the Gospels.
Because of this insidious ideological poison pill, Christianity slowly relaxed into the shape of a death cult, reacting emotionally to demonic outcomes from a narcissistic distance, behind the shield of unearned grace. Think of the Boomer relief they feel knowing they're insured against the fires of hell, unlike the 'sinners' next door. Look at the shallow tatters of ancient ritual that still litter the liturgy of even the permissive protestants. Drinking of his blood, eating of his flesh. Washing away sins rather than integrating mistakes.
Catholics literally kept him on the cross, in torment, in the minds and hearts of all their followers. Followers they inherited from raping their way across the Americas and persecuting more peacable Christian sects. This obsession with sacrifice has given us a lopsided reality where Christians can openly call for genocide or world war and go to church on Sunday and maybe even hear the same from thier death cult pastor.
Anyone faced with this truth that turns away forgoes inevitable integration into the kingdom of God. This is what the Gnostics and the Orthodox Catholics believed and still do, despite the Roman Catholics instigating ideological genocide against the majority of competing Christian sects to include the Jesus focused movement that has now finally resurfaced. Christians are waking up, but it's vital they understand the history, the cult and the god they have worshipped in lieu of being accountable to Nature and nature's God.
The message of Christ was that the kindgom of God is at hand. The only way that rings true is in honor of the nature of a generative reality, aka, a reality we all share a responsibility for generating, every moment of every day. Jesus was pointing out that fact of reality, that we could use love to manifest a better, more lasting kingdom than any human ever could by the power of domination.
Collaboration trampled competition until the Romans had murdered enough true believers to staunch the wound in the western imperial march. So now we have America, instead of the kingdom of God. Now we have endless genocides against the very best cultures humanity could claim as it's own, to ensure the world stays dark enough to reflect the elite's preferred nihilistic reality.
And still, the kingdom of God is at hand, if we wish it.

"Imagine an alcoholic sitting with a barrel of wine in front of him. Suppose he starts saying to himself, βWine isnβt bad for you if used in moderation. Why, they say small amounts of wine are even good for you! It wonβt do me any harm if I take just one little drink....β Well, you know what is going to happen. Never forget that the human race with technology is just like an alcoholic with a barrel of wine".
