China opens world’s longest cable-stayed bridge built using satellite-guided cranes

It is the first bridge that integrates an expressway, a regular road, and also an intercity railway.

As per the officials, the 6.4-mile (10.3-kilometer) bridge connecting Changzhou and Taizhou cities reduces the time taken for travel from 80 minutes to just 20 minutes. The main span of the bridge is 3,960 feet (1,208 meters), and it took roughly six years to complete.
