“Drink water from the spring where horses drink. The horse will never drink bad water. Lay your bed where the cat sleeps. Eat the fruit that has been touched by a worm. Boldly pick the mushroom on which the insects sit. Plant the tree where the mole digs. Build your house where the snake sits to warm itself. Dig your fountain where the birds hide from the heat. Go to sleep and wake up at the same time with the birds – you will reap all of the days' golden grains. Eat more green – you will have strong legs and a resistant heart, like the beings of the forest. Swim often and you will feel on earth like the fish in the water. Look at the sky as often as possible and your thoughts will become light and clear. Be quiet a lot, speak little – and silence will come in your heart, and your spirit will be calm and full of peace.”
Just can’t wrap our heads around why the cremellos were euthanized during the recent gather on the S Steens HMA. We see some saying why we are asking “why”. Because none of it makes sense! There’s the answer to why we keep asking.
Skydog Sanctuary has taken at risk wild horses from the Burns corrals in the past. When Clare at Skydog offered to take any at risk horses from the latest Steens gather, they were refused. But recently, Burns BLM called Skydog saying they had some horses for them to take if Clare was interested. Clare went over with the intention of taking one mare but ended up taking 4 as they were to be put down if she didn’t take them. But there had been no offer for the cremellos? Why not???
After the cremellos were euthanized, someone asked on one of the BLM supporters pages “what is the desired color” (on the S Steens HMA)? One of the supporters supplied a link to BLM’s S Steens HMA page which says “The HMA is managed for pinto colored horses with above average conformation. Colors however range from pinto to buckskin, sorrel, bay, palomino, gray brown and black.”
Then the next question was, “palomino is the lightest color they officially desire?” To which a BLM supporter answered “they are going to remove all horses that do not have color pigment around both eyes to cut down on the number of horses having eye issues in the future”. What???
Now, let’s make it clear who the “they” are that the BLM supporter was talking about. These BLM supporters work quite closely with the Burns BLM employees at the corrals. These supporters are also personal friends with many of the BLM employees that work there. It is not much of a stretch to put the above words into a BLM employees’ mouth, in our opinion.
The above post was quickly deleted but not before we obtained a screenshot of it, thanks to a follower of ours pointing it out to us. Again, the BLM supporters are trying to control the conversation. But this time, the cat was out of the bag.
But that comment doesn’t make much sense either. For those that follow the mustangs on the S Steens HMA, there are many (and that’s an understatement) wild horses on the range that do not have color pigment around both eyes. And what eye issues are “they” referring to? The multitude of photographers over several decades have not reported an abundance of eye issues. There have been a few but usually from an injury most likely from fighting. To that part of the comment “cutting down on the number of eye issues”, we are calling BS.
The vet report from the gather just lists blindness/vision impairments for the diagnosis for all the cremellos euthanized. How can there be that many with vision issues? Someone asked the question, didn’t any of the photographers that document the S Steens HMA notice that these cremellos had vision issues? That evidently these same photographers must not be very observant was heavily implied. And that comment begs the question, if none of the photographers noticed vision issues with the cremellos, then what does that tell you? That it’s not an issue and if it were a real deal, why not try to figure it out with some kind of testing? And why cull the cremellos via euthanasia, why not offer sanctuaries first chance?
Is the reason the cremellos were euthanized something as simple and ugly as someone just doesn’t like cremellos? That is why we are asking why, there are so many questions.

The symbolism of the donkey may refer to the Eastern tradition that it is an animal of peace, unlike the horse which is the animal of war.[1] A king would have ridden a horse when he was bent on war and ridden a donkey to symbolize his arrival in peace. Christ's entry to Jerusalem would have thus symbolized his entry as the Prince of Peace, not as a war-waging king.[1][2] Thus there have been two different meanings (or more levels of biblical hermeneutics): an historical meaning, truly happening according to the Gospels, and a secondary meaning in the symbolism.

All that has been hidden will be revealed. 🔎
"Why are all those racehorses dropping dead at Churchill Downs? Because, since April 29, they've all been wearing powerful WIRELESS…
"The horses may be "vaccinated" too—we're looking into it but these new high-tech gadgets (the sort of thing that thrills Bill Gates) are likely the main cause of death as Arthur Firstenberg explains"
