It’s actually pretty hard to join the FBI you usually need to know someone. If I was a young guy who wanted to join the FBI I would bring my resume to one of these “army of God” or “patriot front” groups and go thru the motions a few days. Don’t commit any crimes and show that you are polite, you dress well, and start handing out your resume. That could actually get you an interview for the FBI and the guys may actually find it pretty funny.
Bring some character references and your academic performance records. It helps if you played sports and you have to have a totally clean record.
And when you get the interview make sure you explain that you never actually wanted to join “patriot front” you just didn’t have any family in the bureau and you saw a great opportunity to network. It would show that you make your own breaks and opportunities and the FBI likes that.
