Farmers and local militiamen, armed with single shot antique hunting rifles, basic shotguns, a few pistols, machetes, pipes and farming utensils, ambush heavily armed Familia Michoacana narcos at a crop/livestock extortion meeting on a fútbol pitch in Texcapilla, resulting in at least 8 confirmed narcos killed and 3 dead farmers defending their community. Notable is that some narcos were executed by being covered in gasoline and torched alive by locals after being wounded.

A lesson to be heeded by all. When the State is run by gangsters, you have only yourself and your neighbors to defend each other. +1 for the farmers. (12-8-23)
