FYI: It appears that an unreleased Supreme Court decision was *briefly* made public on the Court’s website this afternoon for a moment before shortly being taken down. As a reminder, a Supreme Court opinion is not final until it’s officially released from the justices themselves during the regular opinion releasing sessions. If *that* opinion is released tomorrow, it will be sent to this channel as all other opinions have and will be when they are made available.

It’s round two of opinions this week, the justice will convene at 10 AM ET to release one or more opinions in argued cases this term. There are still plenty of outstanding cases, including abortion, Chevron, Presidential Immunity, as well as the Jan 6th defendant case “Fischer v. United States.” All of them are possible today, and hopefully we will receive more than two opinions, unlike yesterday. We will know this morning whether there will be more opinions next week or not. (The Chief Justice tends to announce the last day of opinions on the penultimate day).

As we have all term, we will send you the opinion(s) as soon as they are available on the website.

NEW: Here is the first opinion of the day from the Supreme Court. It is a 5–4 decision delivered by Justice Gorsuch. Justice Barrett filed a dissenting opinion, which Justice Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson joined. This case is called Ohio v. EPA.

NEW: Here is the fourth and final opinion (well not necessarily an *opinion*) of the day from the Supreme Court. It is a Per Curiam, with concurrences and a dissent from Alito, in which Justice Thomas and Gorsuch joined. Justice Jackson concurred in part and dissented in part. The case is called Moyle v. United States, which deals with the Idaho abortion law.

Given the Chief Justice has not announced tomorrow will be the final day (Court has adjourned now) that all but ensures we will be coming back next week. More opinions coming tomorrow, and we could find out when the next opinion day is.

JUST IN: Chief Justice Roberts has just announced Monday will be the FINAL day of opinions, which means we will know the outcome of the remaining major decisions on Monday.

It’s the final day of opinions, which means unlike the other opinion days, we know what cases will be released this morning. Although the order of the releases is not predetermined and merely a guess, we will find out between 10amET-11amET (depending on how long it takes to read the opinions and possible dissents from the bench) on how the Court rules on Presidential Immunity. On Friday, the court issued a decision on Fischer v. United States, which did a major blow to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team regarding hundreds of January 6 prosecutions.
