JUST IN: The Supreme Court has added *seven* new cases to its 2023-2024 term docket. Among those are a wide variety of issues, including a case involving a ban on gender affirming care for minors.

We will also expect more opinion days added this week. We will let you know when those are as soon as they are announced on the website.

JUST IN: The Supreme Court will announce one or more opinions in argued cases on both Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week! There are still 12 to 14 cases outstanding for the court to decide, including abortion, Chevron, presidential immunity, etc. there is a chance that all could be released this week and there’s also a chance that there could be some opinion days next week. As always, we will provide you with the opinions as soon as they are released.

There are still a dozen outstanding cases for the Court to issue opinions on, including abortion, Chevron, and Presidential immunity. Chances are we will likely receive one of those today.

NEW: Here is the first opinion of the day from the Supreme Court. It is a 6-3 decision delivered by Justice Barrett. Justice Alito filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justice Thomas and Gorsuch joined. This case is called Murthy v. Missouri.

NEW: Here is the second (and final) opinion of the day from the Supreme Court. It is another 6-3 decision delivered by Justice Kavanaugh this time. Justice Jackson filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justice Sotomayor and Kagan joined. The case is called Snyder v. United States.

United States.” All of them are possible today, and hopefully we will receive more than two opinions, unlike yesterday. We will know this morning whether there will be more opinions next week or not. (The Chief Justice tends to announce the last day of opinions on the penultimate day).

NEW: Here is the fourth and final opinion (well not necessarily an *opinion*) of the day from the Supreme Court. It is a Per Curiam, with concurrences and a dissent from Alito, in which Justice Thomas and Gorsuch joined. Justice Jackson concurred in part and dissented in part. The case is called Moyle v. United States, which deals with the Idaho abortion law.

JUST IN: Chief Justice Roberts has just announced Monday will be the FINAL day of opinions, which means we will know the outcome of the remaining major decisions on Monday.

It’s the final day of opinions, which means unlike the other opinion days, we know what cases will be released this morning. Although the order of the releases is not predetermined and merely a guess, we will find out between 10amET-11amET (depending on how long it takes to read the opinions and possible dissents from the bench) on how the Court rules on Presidential Immunity. On Friday, the court issued a decision on Fischer v. United States, which did a major blow to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team regarding hundreds of January 6 prosecutions.
