Happy Wednesday Everyone!
The justices will convene to hear two cases (consolidated) for oral argument this morning. Idaho v. United States and Moyle v. United States involve an Idaho law that prohibits access to abortions, and whether it is prohibited by EMTALA, a hospital policy requiring doctors and nurses to examine and treat patients in emergencies.
This is the first case directly impacting abortion (aside from the mifepristone case) since Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which ruled that abortion is not a constitutional right and can be subject to restrictions.
A decision in this case is likely by the end of June.
Arguments in the case begin at 10amET, here is a link to listen live as they occur: https://www.supremecourt.gov/oral_arguments/live.aspx

Happy Thursday everyone, welcome to the final day of oral argument for the Supreme Courtโs 23-24 term.
In the most significant case of the entire term, the Supreme Court will convene this morning at 10amET to hear arguments in Trump v United States.
The case involves whether former President Trump has immunity from prosecution related to his alleged actions involving the 2020 election and the January 6 attack on the US Capitol. The justices will decide โwhether and to what scope, a President, former or current, has immunity from prosecutions for what is considered to be โofficial actsโ of the Presidentโ.
A decision in this case is likely to come down in June, however, due to its expedited circumstances, a decision could come sooner.
