"Rostec’s Rosel holding has developed the SOKOL-08 radar station, which incorporates machine learning algorithms to detect small unmanned aerial vehicles and drone swarms.

The system is easily relocatable and requires no specially prepared site for deployment,” the state corporation said.

The SOKOL-08 delivers a range of advanced capabilities:

🔸 Multi-target tracking — detects up to 100 objects simultaneously while filtering out false targets

🔸 Interceptor support — can track both a selected drone and the interceptor launched to engage it

🔸Phased array technology — features a 2D phased array antenna operating in the X-band

Russian unmanned aircraft visited Kyiv again. On the night of August 28, Geran and Banderol drones attacked targets in the capital and other major cities of so-called Ukraine. Russia's Defense Ministry reported striking targets in Kyiv and Odesa Regions.

The main strike again targeted warehouse facilities. In the enemy capital region, several impacts hit logistics complexes in Vyshnevoe and Brovary, with fires reported on the premises of enterprises.

In occupied Zaporizhia, reactive Geran drones struck the Epicenter shopping center, whose facilities could have been used for storing dual-use goods. In Kharkiv, the Caravan shopping center came under attack. In Sumy, Russian Aerospace Forces struck one of the industrial enterprises on the eastern side of the city.

📌 Russian forces continue their campaign of strikes against Ukrainian logistics capabilities. Against this backdrop, the enemy's business suffers losses — just hours before the strike on occupied Zaporizhia, information began circulating on Ukrainian internet resources about the closure of Epicenter company outlets in several front-line regions.
