Ghana is already qualified for the Round 32 after yesterday results!

Ghana potential opponents if they finish 2nd or 3rd is Colombia or Portugal, depends how results go.
Ghana with a win or draw confirms 2nd position.
If Ghana lose (Croatia win) than Ghana will go on 3rd place and Croatia will be on the 2nd place!

Why is it important if Ghana finish 2nd or 3rd place?

If Ghana finish 2nd place it means they will have to play their 32 Knock Out-Game in Canada (Toronto), that means their best player Partey will be unavailable because Canada is not giving him visa to enter the country! (Same reason why Partey was absence for Ghana in match-round 1 vs Panama)

If Ghana finish 3rd place they will play their 32 Knock Out-Game in Usa, and Partey will be available to play!

Partey is the back-bone and most important player in Ghana's midfield, deciding to play without him in Knock Out 32 Round is basically deciding to play 50% weaker!

Added to that Ghana is probably once again missing Ati Zigi their first keeper who got injured during game v Panama, also if I would be on Quieroz' place I would rest my 2 key players Yirenkyi and Inaki Williams who are both in danger of getting suspension if receive yellow card! (Same as USA coach rested his 4 potential suspensions)


Croatia must get at least a draw today to go in next stage but their coach in the press have said that they will try to win!


Honestly I expect Ghana to field reserve line up or at least make 7-8 rotations in their line up! The Partey scenario is crucial for them and I think experienced coach as Carlos Quieroz will take that into consideration
