The most inspiring people I have ever met have all described their lives in some variation of the following concept:

They view their lives as sagas, as legends.

This may sound crazy or downright megalomaniacal, but this megalomania is the very basis of success.

It makes sense, how can you succeed at anything without having an irrational confidence in yourself.

I differ a bit, but you get the idea here.

Let's go back to the idea of seeing your life as a story.

Rewrite your life story

We all need to make sense of our lives and find fulfillment in them. A crisis gives us the opportunity to rewrite our life story and become what we always wanted.

Almost all great and successful people remember the "life shakes" they experienced that shaped them as they stand at the podium to receive an award or recognition.

It also allows us to see difficulties as a learning phase and to overcome them rather than to suffer them as an inevitability.

Write your story.

Be great.

It will invariably end up transferring to your lives.

If you feel you are depressed and think making reels about it will make you better,

Understand, you are not really depressed. You're just sad and craving attention.

Try getting some sun.

Depressed people don't make reels. Trust me on it. I know.

Flirting is a socialising tool for women.

She's been taught to be cute, playful and flirtatious around people to get in the good books.

Men are idiots in thinking that the woman wants to sleep with them -

Men, who when flirt, actually wants to sleep with the woman.

From a higher position in the hierarchy, do not request your subordinates to do something.

Do not make it sound like a command either, unless you are in military or government.

Instead, give them a suggestion and the ensuing benefits.

Make it a habit to look over your shoulder but do not make it obvious.

Never sit with your back towards a door.

Whenever you're with a new person, imagine every minute of silence is draining your life away.

Learn and practice making small talk. Yes, it is boring to the bones.

But you never know what connections you will make.

One of my dearest friends passed away on new year yesterday. I'm not writing this for sympathy. That's the last thing I want. That's the last thing anyone wants.

It's just a reminder to me. And to you.

We live as though death is the least probable thing in our lives. However, it is the only one certainty for us.

Yet we are surprised when it comes knocking on the door.

This is the best new year message I could get. Painful yes, but effective.

Seize your lives. Seize your talents.

Have a great year ahead.
