First chart I look at is the weekly to form some thoughts on the higher timeframe...

Early last week I, as many, discussed the price action being a potential bottom.

Things are looking much better now but I'm not loving the fact that we are chopping around the $60K range low region.

Next chart will be the 1D looking at this in more detail.

The reaction has been strong but we've spent almost a week chopping above and below the range lows.

I'll feel much more comfortable looking at longs once we reclaim the $63.3K area.

Maybe a bit of PTSD here but I actually favour opening a short as a hedge here for now.

Similar thoughts to the $BTC chart I just shared...

$2,850 in this case seems like a pivotal level to reclaim. Hard to be overly bullish until that has been smashed through.

Short plays at this area could be a good shout especially for those looking to hedge. Obvious invalidation on the reclaim.

I've just been made aware that CPI is today so I'm not rushing into any trades on my first day back.

Reclaiming key levels is so important for structure to start favouring bulls again.

Sharing some LTF views for the short term...

Price is currently in a no trade zone for me. No favourable RR on offer despite the raising wedge breaking down.

If price loses the lows at $2,550 I'll look for a short trade to $2,300.

If price reclaims the key level at $2,850 and in the process gets above the 200MA, I'll be looking for longs.

Some coins showing promising signs here. Starting to look like something might be brewing on LTF's.

We are still in summer, we are still in chop szn. Don't get carried away until the time is right.

HTF market structure is key. Look for important reclaims of key levels. The $0.57-$0.60 area being an example here.

For me, it is just a matter of time before better times return but I'm not interested in catching the bottom.

When we have a clear trend resumption, I'll be more active again.
