Dear Nonno,
It has been the greatest honour being your grandsons. We can still hear your laughter, your voice, every story you told, and the wisdom you shared so generously. The memories we made together are treasures we’ll carry in our hearts and with our souls forever.
Right now, it’s so difficult to find the words for what you meant to me, and how much I looked up to you throughout my life. In video games, I even took your name, Alfredo Vannucci. You inspired me to reach for the stars, for anything is within grasp if you set your sights to it with determination. You were always coaching and always motivating.
You were a builder of homes, and I became a builder of websites. It felt like an evolution of sorts within our family tree, a way of honouring what you created by creating in my own way.
You taught us what it means to live with integrity, to love deeply, and to face life with strength and grace. Your heart was so strong. You loved life with such passion and embraced every moment. Your curious mind was always exploring, always thinking about creating your next project. Your love of music filled our lives with joy, your soulful romantic heart showed us the beauty of devotion, your hands built and created with artistry and skill, and your strength, like a lion, both physical and of spirit, inspired us every day.
May God bless your soul and grant you the peace you deserve, in everlasting paradise, reunited with your sister, mother, and father. We love you so much, Nonno, and we will forever miss you.
