⭐BPCL’s profitable Q4
Shares of Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) are trading 1.8% higher intraday following strong Q4FY23 earnings. The company reported a standalone net profit of ₹6,477 crore, a jump of 159% YoY from ₹2,501 crore. This came on the back of a recovery in fuel marketing margins and better refining margins.
⭐ITI bags BSNL order
The public sector major’s shares zoomed 4.3% intraday after securing an advance purchase order from BSNL worth ₹3,889 crore for the rollout of its 4G network in the west zone. The contract includes planning, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, and AMC of the 4G mobile network for 23,633 sites.

Shares of the cement manufacturer are trading 1.4% higher intraday after the company reported its Q4FY23 numbers. Shares of Biocon surged over 2% intraday after the drugmaker reported robust Q4FY23 numbers. The company reported over 31% YoY rise in net profit to ₹313.2 crore from 238.6 crore. Consolidated revenue from operations also increased over 56% YoY to ₹3,774 crore from ₹2,408 crore.
⭐Deepak Nitrite’s investment plan
Shares of Deepak Nitrite soared above 8% intraday after the company's wholly owned subsidiary Deepak Chem Tech signed a contract with the Gujarat government to invest ₹5,000 crore in manufacturing projects for specialty chemicals. The investment will create 1,500 job opportunities and reduce import dependence.
