I just learned you can grow a banana plant from a single banana! Get a really green banana, cut the stem end a bit(not all) to expose fresh cells, dip in aloe or your favorite root hormone, then plant it stem end down up to about an inch of banana. Put a humidity tent on it and keep it watered. In 10-15 days, you should have the beginning of a banana plant! Can grow full sized plants in greenhouses or outside if you live in the tropics!
