I have been largely, "absent," for a few days.
Those that know me and my background, are aware that i am totally Dog orientated.
Had dogs in my life, for most of my life, as pets and professionally, in the Military, Police and SAR.
We lost Sofi, an old, blind Cairn Terrier, 2 days before Christmas. She simply shut down. We gave her 2 years of pure love...having been begged by a rescue shelter to take her, " cos no one else would and you are the best."
At the beginning of this week, we had to let 3x..yes THREE.. more of our Pack, cross the Rainbow Bridge.
Buddy, the cross Pittie and Mastin, ears cut off to be a bait dog .. but he was far to beautiful a Soul, so got thrown on the street. He soent what were told, was 6 years in a rescue centre..no one wanted to take him in.
He looked big and mean. Fools.
Lulu, the Chihuahua, was old, at least 13, born with a mslformed front leg and then was kicked, shattering her diagonally opposite rear leg. Never stopped her big Spirit.
Finally, Tessa, a Chi Cross.
