Period. Alternatively, you are allowed to delete people off of FB, delete their number and stop hanging out with them. You don't always need to explain yourself. If someone can't self reflect on how their actions have affected you, that's not your fault and it's not your responsibility to coddle someone determined to not understand where you're coming from.
