There is NO, " one size fits all," system, to manage PTSD, C-PTSD, depression, stress, anxiety, etc.
The true challenge - and key - is to find what method, or combination of methods, work for YOU.
Nothing seemed to work for me  in terms of, "formal," therapy.
However, I was, (stubbornly,) determined to heal.
A friend suggested I went to a former SRN, who was practicing in a town an hours drive away.
I secured funding, from my former Police Service's Federation and I went.
This Lady was a fully qualified and highly experienced hypnotherapist, acupuncturist, accupressurist, holistic, reiki, healer.
10x sessions of combined hypnotherapy and acupuncture, with various self-management techniques like mindfulness, tapping, positive assertation therapy and sound/frequency healing tapes..
My life changed entirely.
Of course, personal WILLPOWER and that determination, was an essential element of the processes.
Oh and stopping drinking any alcoholic beverages, cutting fast and processed foods, massively reducing processed sugar intake, replacing with locally and organic grown produce.
Sun bathing and gazing.
Grounding/Earthing.
So, taking a structured and wide selection of techniques, for both bodily health AND psychological healing, calmness and management.
Only you guys will know- and find, research - for yourselves, what key(s,) unlock YOUR positive outcomes and future..

When we are faced with traumatic situations, it’s healthy to allow for the emotions to come out; it’s good to talk, to cry, to scream if you must, to sweat it out, to meditate it, to talk some more, to cry again, to feel the sorrow, to process the anger, to work through the frustration, to shed more tears, but at some point you have to decide to be done.

You have to accept what is and be done with it so you can regain internal peace. It’s not a matter of forgetting but it usually is a matter of forgiving. Until you forgive, whether it’s someone else, yourself or life itself, you will not find peace.

Most people have a lot of trouble forgiving someone that has wronged them, in the belief that they are doing it for the other, but forgiving is really about setting yourself free from the feelings of anger and hurt relating to that person (or people), you do it for you, not them.

Being ‘done’ is the only way to move on and find peace again, your mental and physical health depend on it.

You’ve been completely programmed to think that bad things are inevitable.
That the more you suffer, the more benefit you will reap.
“No pain, no gain.”

But nothing could be further from the Truth.
INSIST on glory, goodness and miracles and that’s exactly what you will get.

Believe.
