Although change is the nature of the Universe, we only see what is occurring in the here and now.

We get anxiety about something that may not even happen. We use our imagination to create something we don’t want. We let fear dominate our mind. We lock our heart away and we bury the key.

The ability to weather the storm is the true test of any Warrior.

We withstand, we wait.

The winds whip us, the waters overpower us, the fires burn us and the Earth crumbles under our feet.

Still we stand, unmoved.

Like the lion roaring at the tidal wave, standing firmly on the shore.

Knowing and accepting that we can be gone from this realm any moment is second only to knowing that when we do die, it will only be because the purpose of our death outweighs the purpose of our lives continuing.
