The Light is now six years old, despite many doubting we would even print one issue.
To celebrate we have hired a fantastic music/camping pub, The Junction in Rainford. There will be lots of different practical talks in the big marquee during the day, or you can just chill out camping and chatting if you prefer.
Then after dinner weโll light two big firepits and have invited several awake and brilliantly talented musicians/performers to entertain through the night.
Itโs ยฃ20 per day plus camping fees, itโs the last event weโre putting on this year and anyone whoโs been to any freedom music festivals this year knows how awesome some of those late-night campfire singalongs were.
There really are limited spaces, especially for camping, so donโt miss out if you fancy it.

Rachel Reeves has now 'paused' and is reviewing the plans for local government reorganisation and devolution.
A big shout out to Rachel, Madeleine and everyone else who've been active in fighting this and refusing to let them just do what they want.

We had a really wonderful time at our first Stand In The Light Unplugged event this past weekend! What a great way to celebrate six years of The Light Paper with so many of our freedom tribe. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant get together! Huge thanks also to the venue owner Paul and his staff, the fantastic workshop leaders, musicians, volunteers and stallholders. We absolutely love putting on these special SITL gatherings and have another Stand In The Night event planned for later in the year (I can't bring myself to mention the C-word just yet! ๐) - details to come soon!
