A lot of people brush this off with "I'll never get a smart meter" but the reality is that electricity suppliers HAVE TO ensure that ALL of their customers have smart meters by the end of 2025 - that is part of the licensing conditions imposed by Ofgem - in reality those opting out of smart meters will probably end up being cut off from the grid.

Yesterday the UK State passed one of the most liberty crushing pieces of legislation in history under the Energy Bill.
