t is by now no surprise to learn that some facts about government, and associated agency decisions, especially controversial ones, do get revealed to citizens thanks to various, varying from country to country, Freedom of Information, known mostly as FOIA, acts.

Newly Found Brain Cell Could Mitigate Alzheimer's Effects

A new type of brain cell shows promising influence against diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Researchers say this “hybrid cell” could open optimistic routes for potential treatments for such conditions.

What makes this “hybrid cell” interesting is that its anatomy consists of a combination of neurons and glial cells called astrocytes. Roberta de Ceglia, first author of the study, said these cells control the level of communication and excitation of the neurons that affect memory consolidation and potential therapeutic targets for Parkinson’s.

Hospitals are terrible places. People die in them. You should go into hospital only as a last resort. And you should escape the minute you can.

As a doctor I am ashamed, saddened and embarrassed to have to tell you this but hospital patients are routinely neglected, humiliated and left in pain. Thousands of patients have died as a result of poor treatment. One independent enquiry documented cases where patients had been left unwashed for up to a month and left without food, drink and medical treatment. The conclusion was that managers had been ‘preoccupied with cost-cutting, targets and processes’ and had lost sight of their basic responsibilities. Astonishingly, none of the managers responsible was taken to court. Nor were any of the doctors and nurses punished.

Analysis: Wegovy launch in UK may underline Novo's need to get ahead of Lilly

Novo Nordisk's decision to launch its weight-loss drug Wegovy in Britain last week despite severe supply constraints may partly have been motivated by a desire to get ahead of rival Eli Lilly's (LLY.N) own similar drug, industry sources said.
They said Novo may also have been responding to concerns voiced by the British government and patient advocacy groups over the off-label use for weight loss of its diabetes drug Ozempic, which contains the same active ingredient as Wegovy.

Bill told Alan that he realized that he had been fed disinformation about UFOs and aliens from official sources; that he had been used to promote something that served The Agenda.  (I’m sure that devoted Bill Cooper listeners will be aware that he distanced himself from that world, as he spoke about it publicly.  His listeners continue to write about him, and I found this on Reddit, posted just a few months ago. “Towards the latter part of his life, he was saying there are no UFOS, no proof of extraterrestrials, a group of people are using UFOs and aliens to scare people, and everything related is a scam.”)
