BELFAST, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Northern Ireland's largest unionist party faces a historic dilemma if EU and British negotiators clinch a post-Brexit trade deal: redraw their red lines or risk signing a death warrant for decades of power-sharing with Irish nationalists.
The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) could take a chance and endorse a Northern Ireland Protocol deal that is all but certain to fall short of its stringent demands but that would open the door for more radical rivals to outflank the party.

Much of what we know about social media discourse is thanks to Twitter's longtime policy of allowing free access to its data. That has made Twitter data a treasure trove for researchers eager to study online behavior, including how falsehoods and conspiracy theories circulate. Kate Starbird remembers how Twitter research dominated the field between 2010 and 2015.
"You look at some of the conferences we attended, you know, 50% of the social computing papers would be about Twitter and sometimes even more, because that was the data that we had access to," says Starbird, a researcher at the University of Washington who studies online information dynamics during crises, including disinformation.

Scottish FoI response: NO doctors or nurses have died ‘involving’ Covid for three years
As a Scottish concerned citizen in the post-2020 era with over 20 years’ experience in science and data analysis, I have been looking on with frequently raised eyebrows at the response to the alleged Covid–19 pandemic. Almost nothing made sense to me from a health standpoint. It was actually the inverse of public health.
One example was that I knew from research conducted in the early 2000s that chronic fear is the most harmful state for immune system health—and yet we had relentless daily government briefings and mainstream media Covid–19 case and death counts terrorising people in their own homes.

Its creators seem to have wired-in a tendency to analyse and interpret the world from a woke perspective, but thankfully there is a workaround.
