So they are manipulating prices to 'phase out' the old and bring in the new.

The tech we have been made aware of are tremendously old. This has been the one major revelation I've come to realise during this awakening transition.

The public is kept in the dark on what technology is out there.

They are transitioning away from fisseo based fuels for the manufacturing of electricity. Of course fossel fuel won't all be done away with.
