Monkeypox Outbreak Does Not Constitute a Public Health Emergency

The White House just declared monkeypox a public health emergency while also announcing a new strategy to increase vaccine availability.

Currently, it is not clear whether this skin disorder is indeed a monkeypox infection. Lesions shown in the media resemble shingles, herpes simplex virus, and other skin lesions. It is also not clear whether it is occurring in association with the Covid-19 genetic injections, as skin lesions are common with the latter.

Typical symptoms include fever, headache, swelling, back pain, and aching muscles. Following the fever, a rash can appear, often first on the face before spreading to other parts of the body. The rash and lesions can be painful and itchy, going through multiple stages before forming a scab that eventually falls off.

Monkeypox infection typically clears up on its own within 14 to 21 days.

The World Council for Health advises people to take responsibility for their health and to take no further injections proposed by the WHO at this time.

What the NHS was 

On 5 July in the significant year of 1948, the National Health Service was born, a few months before Prince Charles. Its founding intention was to remove the need for the people of Britain to live in fear of ill health, at a time of great uncertainty, shortages and poverty. The Labour Party had already had a long-standing commitment to ‘a national health service’ when it was elected to office in Britain's immediate post-war general election in 1945. Aneurin Bevan (pictured above), the then Secretary of State for Health, announced a plan for a fully nationalised Health Service to be accomplished within weeks.

Teenagers to be part of Covid booster vaccine trials; Manchester university NHS Trust urging teenagers to volunteer

Participants in the Com-COV 3 study – who have previously received two doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, at least three months before – will receive a third dose of either:

•Further full adult dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (30 mcg)

•One-third adult dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (10 mcg)

•Full child dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (10 mcg)

•Full dose Novavax vaccine
