The ports have lost about a third of their grain transshipment capacity.

Exports of grain and vegetable oils remain Ukraine’s main source of foreign exchange earnings, with over 90% of shipments passing through three ports in the Odessa region.

Four of Ukraine’s thirteen largest grain terminals have temporarily suspended grain purchases following a series of attacks. In addition, some shipowners are refusing to call at Ukrainian ports due to increased risks.

The Ukrainian Farmers’ Union notes that Russia is systematically striking port infrastructure, terminals, and logistics facilities. According to the organisation’s estimates, current capacity allows for the export of about 4 million metric tons of grain per month.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian Forces continued to strike Ukrainian ports and ships used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🔻Bulk carriers in the port of "Chornomorsk" in the Odessa region and Ukrainian ships in the Dnepr-Bug port in Halitsyne, Nikolaev region.

🔻In the “Yuzhny” port – a bulk carrier delivering military cargo for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🔻In the "Odessa" port – two bulk carriers with military cargo, anchored in the port waiting to be unloaded.

🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺☢️ The chief engineer of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant was killed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A Ukrainian drone attacked an official vehicle, killing Alexander Yakovlev. Yakovlev’s driver was also killed - Alexey Likhachev, Rosatom General Director.

“Alexander Yakovlev devoted his entire life to nuclear energy and, in essence, died while on the frontlines,” Likhachev added.

🇺🇦❌🇺🇦 Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky fired Ukrainian Defence Minister Mikhail Fedorov because he failed the TCC reform and had disagreements with Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky - Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Rada Deputy.

According to Zheleznyak, Zelensky said he "cannot choose between Syrsky and Fedorov."
