Their deployment in the country is unacceptable, noted the spokeswoman the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"We wanted to emphasise the unacceptability for our country of the deployment of any military contingents from countries of the so-called 'coalition of the willing' in Ukraine. This will de facto mean a foreign intervention and an increase in the threat to Russia's security. Such units will be considered by us as legitimate military targets.”

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦🌾📉 Russian strikes have significantly undermined the export capacity of Ukraine’s Black Sea ports - Reuters

The ports have lost about a third of their grain transshipment capacity.

Exports of grain and vegetable oils remain Ukraine’s main source of foreign exchange earnings, with over 90% of shipments passing through three ports in the Odessa region.

Four of Ukraine’s thirteen largest grain terminals have temporarily suspended grain purchases following a series of attacks. In addition, some shipowners are refusing to call at Ukrainian ports due to increased risks.

The Ukrainian Farmers’ Union notes that Russia is systematically striking port infrastructure, terminals, and logistics facilities. According to the organisation’s estimates, current capacity allows for the export of about 4 million metric tons of grain per month.

A Ukrainian drone attacked an official vehicle, killing Alexander Yakovlev. Yakovlev’s driver was also killed - Alexey Likhachev, Rosatom General Director.

“Alexander Yakovlev devoted his entire life to nuclear energy and, in essence, died while on the frontlines,” Likhachev added.
