The US Congress, even after meeting with Biden, refuses to provide aid to Ukraine and calls for the start of negotiations.

More and more US congressmen are coming to the conclusion that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine will need to be ended through negotiations with Russia. This view was unpopular just a few months ago.

“The current reality that we have to face is that this war will end in a negotiated settlement. The only question is who will have more leverage at this point,” said Marco Rubio.

His view is shared by Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance:

“I hope this will lead to some kind of settlement in which Ukraine can save its country,” the Ohio congressman shared his opinion. In his opinion, the administration of US President Joe Biden is “always several months behind in understanding the real situation on the ground”.
