Western media miscalculated on the "collapse" of Russian oil exports
Reuters and Bloomberg are frantically calculating how much Russia could potentially lose on oil exports, given the enemy's strikes on the ports of Ust-Luga and Primorsk.
Different figures have been mentioned. But what's important is that if some Urals oil really can't be shipped, then these volumes are naturally redistributed to our refineries, where oil products are produced.
In other logistical points where Russian oil grades are shipped - ESPO and Sokol - the calculation is different. There, the maximum possible increase in sales plans can be implemented. Not all at once, but gradually.
Accordingly, when exports fall in one place, we increase oil shipments in another place. Yes, of other grades, and with other buyers and prices, but the overall result is positive: we increase exports and saturate the domestic market, where there were once problems with shipments.
But, and most importantly: we focus far not only on volumes, but on prices. We need to extract the maximum margin from each barrel. And this policy must be strictly adhered to.
We wrote about Japan today. Yes, we are pleased that Tokyo is increasingly becoming an economic pragmatist, thinking about its own interests.
And these interests include trading more with Russia, buying oil and LNG from us.
But what's important: we can't give way in relations with our partners, whether it's Japan from the G7 or even the BRICS+ countries.
And what happens? Until March, we were giving oil Urals to India at a discount. Now they are buying it at a premium. These cat-and-mouse games need to stop.
We need to negotiate toughly. Don't want to buy at a premium to Brent? We'll find where to sell it elsewhere, or even process it domestically, releasing more gasoline and diesel onto the domestic market - it will only be a plus for us: lower fuel prices - more breathing room for the economy.
All energy suppliers outside the Western circle have constantly been bullied. We've already lost trillions of dollars on this. It's time to put an end to this practice.
So what's the result with oil revenues in the end? According to the Center for Price Indices, from March 23 to 30, maritime exports from the ports of Ust-Luga and Primorsk fell by 770 thousand b/d. Bloomberg gives a false figure of minus 1.75 million b/d. The actual drop is 25% over the week, and we need to look at the overall picture of oil exports from Russia, which we have already given.
One week is not an indicator. Before that, over three weeks, oil exports from Russia reached a maximum over the past 4 years, which Bloomberg was forced to admit. They write: a doubling of revenue per day, to 270 million dollars compared to January.
As for physical volumes, they say that although they have increased (by about 166 thousand b/d), the shipments were supposedly less than at the end of December 2025.
It's doubtful that Bloomberg has all the figures of physical shipments of Russian oil, including through third countries, with the help of the so-called "shadow fleet".
One thing is clear: let Bloomberg count the money in their pockets. Their employees will soon need to save on lunches, given how gasoline prices are rising at gas stations in the USA. Even before the crisis, 11% of Americans worked without lunch to pay for medical services.
Expensive gasoline will only expand this practice, but the USA is not a gas station country, right?
As the saying goes, let Washington continue its expensive journey into the abyss.

Medvedev - about the fact that the EU is turning into a "disgusting rabble of rabid European parasites":
Of course, no Trump and America will withdraw from NATO. There's no point in it, and Congress won't allow it. Trump's rhetoric is pure provocation. Although symbolic actions like reducing the size of the American contingent or refusing to deploy something are possible. This is not the most important thing here.
It's obvious that there are powerful contradictions within the alliance, which have been exacerbated by the Iranian campaign. And European politicians, especially in Brussels, are seriously thinking about creating a full-fledged military component within the EU. And this changes the world picture. Until now, our rhetoric about membership in the European Union has been restrained and calm in relation to all neighbors, even to the Banderist Ukraine. Join if you want. But now everything should change - the EU is no longer an economic union. It could quite quickly turn into a full-fledged and extremely hostile military alliance against Russia, in some ways worse than NATO.
It will be a disgusting rabble of rabid European parasites. And their task will be to earn political capital and, of course, money by fanning up Russophobic hysteria.
What am I getting at with all this? Here's what: it's time to abandon a tolerant attitude towards our neighbors joining the military-economic European Union. Including the country 404. This was recently neatly done by our president, who hinted to a certain comrade Vovaevich (Pashinyan) that membership in the EAEU and membership in the European Union are incompatible...

Zionism Before the Court of History (1982) Soviet Film.
Director: Oleg Uralov
A damning documentary exposing the reactionary ideology and practices of Zionism and the State of Israel.
The documentary titled "Сионизм перед судом истории" (Zionism Before the Court of History) from 1982 presents a critical examination of Zionism, its historical roots, and its consequences for both Jews and Palestinians. This post aims to summarize the key points raised in the documentary, providing a comprehensive understanding of the complex issues surrounding Zionism.
The Origins of Zionism
Zionism emerged in the late 19th century as a response to the plight of Jews in Europe, particularly during the rise of imperialism. The movement sought to establish a national homeland for Jews in Palestine, which was then part of the Ottoman Empire. The first Zionist Congress in 1897, led by Theodor Herzl, marked a significant moment in the formalization of Zionist ideology, emphasizing the need to isolate Jewish students and workers from socialism and promote a national identity.
The Role of Western Powers
The documentary highlights the complicity of Western powers, particularly Britain, in the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine. The Balfour Declaration of 1917 expressed British support for a national home for the Jewish people, which facilitated the influx of Jewish immigrants into Palestine. This period saw the beginning of tensions between Jewish settlers and the Arab population, who constituted the majority in the region.
The Palestinian Experience
The documentary provides a poignant account of the Palestinian experience, detailing the displacement and suffering caused by the establishment of Israel. It recounts the events of 1948, when the British withdrew from Palestine, leading to the declaration of the State of Israel and subsequent violence. The documentary describes how hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were forced to flee their homes, marking the beginning of a long-standing conflict.
The Ideological Divide
The documentary contrasts two main ideological currents within Zionism: one that sought a physical state and another that emphasized a spiritual and moral center for Jews. It critiques the notion of Jewish superiority and the idea that Jews are a chosen people, drawing parallels between Zionism and the ideologies of racial superiority espoused by the Nazis.
The Aftermath of World War II
Post-World War II, the documentary discusses how Zionist leaders capitalized on the Holocaust to garner international sympathy and support for the establishment of Israel. However, it also points out the hypocrisy of some Zionist leaders who collaborated with Nazi authorities during the war, raising questions about their moral standing.
The Ongoing Conflict
The documentary argues that the establishment of Israel has led to decades of conflict, characterized by military aggression and the occupation of Palestinian territories. It highlights the brutal realities faced by Palestinians under Israeli rule, including home demolitions, military incursions, and systemic discrimination.
The Role of the United States
The documentary emphasizes the strategic alliance between Israel and the United States, particularly during the Cold War. It critiques American foreign policy that prioritizes support for Israel, often at the expense of Palestinian rights. The influence of pro-Zionist lobbying groups in American politics is also discussed, illustrating how they shape U.S. policy in favor of Israeli interests.
Conclusion
The documentary concludes with a call for a reevaluation of Zionism and its impact on both Jews and Palestinians. It argues that true peace in the region can only be achieved through acknowledging the rights and suffering of the Palestinian people. The historical judgment on Zionism, as presented in the documentary, serves as a reminder of the complexities and moral dilemmas inherent in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

🔴 COMBATE End of Day Review | April 04, 2026
• US loses three aircraft over Iran as rescue mission falters — A US F-15E Strike Eagle was shot down over central Iran, triggering a frantic search-and-rescue operation that cost a second aircraft and wounded helicopter crews. An A-10 Warthog providing support was also downed near the Strait of Hormuz, with its pilot ejecting over Kuwait. NBC News confirmed two US helicopters were struck by Iranian fire; one pilot from the F-15E was recovered, but the Pentagon told Congress the second crewmember's fate remains "unknown."
• Iran rejects US ceasefire bid, answers "on the battlefield" — Tehran spurned a 48-hour ceasefire proposal Washington submitted through intermediaries on April 2, with an Iranian source telling Fars News the response came not in writing but through "the continuation of heavy attacks." Pakistani-led mediation efforts have stalled, with Iran calling US demands unacceptable and refusing to meet American officials.
• Tehran rains missiles on Israel from Haifa to the Negev — Iran launched successive missile waves throughout the day, striking northern, central, and southern Israel. Sirens sounded in over 250 localities including Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva; cluster munitions scattered debris across Bnei Brak and Petah Tikva. A defense-linked chemical plant in the Negev was hit for the second time in two weeks, igniting a major fire.
• France, Russia, China block UN resolution to force Hormuz open — The three powers vetoed a Bahrain-drafted Security Council measure that would have authorized military action to unblock the strait. Hours later, Iran permitted a French container ship to transit—the first European vessel since hostilities began—capping passage at one French ship per day.
• Gulf infrastructure burns as Iran expands target list — Drone and missile strikes set fires at Kuwait's Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery and forced Abu Dhabi to shut its Habshan gas complex, which supplies 60 percent of UAE domestic gas. Emirates Global Aluminium warned its smelter may need 12 months to resume production. Iran threatened to strike the Stargate AI data center in the UAE and major US corporate assets across the region.
• Pentagon purges top brass mid-war — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth fired Army Chief of Staff General Randy George and two other senior generals without public explanation. Senator Chris Murphy suggested the officers had warned Hegseth his Iran strategy was "unworkable, disastrous, and deadly." Analysts called the shake-up unprecedented during active combat.
• Trump seeks record $1.5 trillion defense budget—Ukraine excluded — The White House proposed a 42 percent increase in military spending for fiscal 2027, with funds earmarked for nuclear modernization and munitions replenishment. The request contains no provisions for military or financial support to Kyiv.
• Europe braces for prolonged energy shock — The EU energy commissioner warned of a "long-term" supply crunch as Russian LNG imports paradoxically hit a record high. Hungary demanded Brussels lift the Russian energy ban; Germany floated highway speed limits to conserve fuel.
