This is grotesque theological supremacy... a hierarchy of whose children count, whose grief gets the definite article, whose corpses require a disclaimer before the world is permitted to mourn them.

The same rag that led the drum-beat to Baghdad, that printed Judith Miller’s Pentagon fairy tales as front-page scripture to ease the path for Iraq 2003, is teaching you epistemology about dead Iranian schoolgirls.

Ask yourself if Israeli missiles had triple-tapped a Jerusalem elementary school and killed 165 girls between seven and twelve, their math books still open on the desks, would the headline read Israel Says? You know the answer in your bones. Every person on this earth who isn’t professionally paid knows the answer.

The New York Times has a hierarchy and it does not hide it anymore... Israeli deaths land as God’s own fact, Iranian children require a subordinate clause and a disclaimer before the world is permitted to mourn them. That hierarchy has a name. It is ethno-supremacy in broadsheet form... the same supremacy that made Gaza possible, that made Minab possible, that makes every next atrocity possible by pre-emptively managing the grammar of your grief. NYT are the communications division of a project that has decided certain children do not fully exist and when history renders its verdict on this era, the paper of record will stand in the dock not as a witness but as a co-conspirator, blood–stained and unrepentant, right to the end.

"The US is considering the possibility of sending special forces to seize Iran's nuclear arsenal": The Americans want to land on a "key oil island".

"The US and Israel are discussing the possibility of conducting an operation to seize Iran's reserves of highly enriched uranium to prevent the creation of nuclear weapons. According to sources, options are being considered either to export about 450 kg of uranium from Iran, or to process it on site with the participation of specialists, including experts in nuclear technologies.

The US discussed the possibility of seizing Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf - a key oil terminal, through which about 90% of Iran's crude oil exports pass. Such a mission would likely require limited participation of US or Israeli special forces and could only be carried out after a significant weakening of Iran's military capabilities".
