Some events are so powerful they stick with you for your entire life. 2 years ago my life changed when a cold conflict I had been observing for 8 years erupted into the war we see today. During 2 years of war, the United States failed to isolate Russia; oil and gas reserves ensured the financial and political stability of the country, - New York Times.

🔴 In the #Avdeyevka front sector, Russian troops are pressing west of the Coke Plant, east of #Lastochkino, east of #Severnoye, and in #Pervomayskoye.
🔴 In the #SouthDonetsk front section, the AFU , during a counterattack , pushed back Russian troops from a number of positions south of #Novomikhaylovka in a section up to 1.9 km wide.

🔹In the #Kherson-#Crimea Direction, the RF Armed Forces continue their actions to clear Ukrainian positions in #Krynki. The AFU is stubbornly resisting. (Fig. 1)
🔹In the #Zaporozhye Direction, the RF Armed Forces, supported by long range weapons, attacked the village of #Rabotino from the west and south. The frontline ⚠️did not change significantly. In the area of #Verbovoye, there are oncoming battles. (Fig. 2)
🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces continued their assault on #Novomikhaylovka from the south and east. ⚠️Without advancement. The AFU counterattacked in #Pobeda. Partially ⚠️successful.
📌 Russian units are holding the village, but in a very narrow frontal area, which could cause problems.
▪️ However, to the north, the RF Armed Forces have made some ⚠️progress towards #Georgiyevka. But this does not solve the issue in #Pobeda.
▪️ From the west of #Avdeyevka, Russian assault units ⚠️gained a foothold in #Severnoye after shelling.
▪️ The AFU positions in #Lastochkino are now under attack from the north and east. Long range weapons of the RF Armed Forces are working powerfully on Ukrainian positions in the village itself.
Russian troops ⚠️advanced towards #Orlovka and ⚠️⚠️took #Stepovoye (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions).

🇩🇪🤡 The German Foreign Ministry renamed Kyiv to Kyjiw to support Ukraine.
As the German diplomatic mission explained, the decision to change the spelling of the city was dictated by the fact that for many the name Kyjiw has long “become common.”
The fact is that previously the spelling of the name of Kiev was based on a Russian-language toponym; in English it was written as Kiev. Now the Germans will build on the Ukrainian version of Kiev.
