- The plan includes attacks on energy infrastructure and facilities, the damage to which could cause disruptions in the region's airspace.
- Khamenei began developing a detailed plan after the US strikes last June, writes FT.
- "We had no choice but to escalate the situation and start a big fire so that everyone could see. When our red lines were crossed in violation of all international laws, we could no longer abide by the rules of the game," explained a source from Tehran.
