🔹On the #Donetsk Front, things are critically ⚠️bad for the AFU. But things are ⚠️not dramatically good for the RF Armed Forces either. The assault by Russian troops from the southeast on #Novomikhaylovka has led to their ⚠️taking up positions on the outskirts of the settlement. There are logistics for forward units. But over open terrain. Given the active use of FPV drones by the Ukrainian army, problems may arise. ⚠️Especially since the settlement is held by AFU paratroopers, who have already counterattacked not once without success. Over the past day the attacks of the RF Armed Forces near #Pobeda, #Georgiyevka and #Pervomayskoye ⚠️did not bring them any success. (⚠️ Contrary 👉 2 Majors) But on the southern outskirts of #Avdeyevka, they actually ⚠️closed the Ukrainian fortification "Zenit" in a ring. The "neck" is less than 800 metres. And the AFU will not be able to retreat through it. Northwest of #Avdeyevka, the RF Armed Forces have ⚠️cut the main logistical route of the Ukrainian garrison in the city. The advanced positions of the Russian assault units are 500 metres to the west.
📌 In this situation, the AFU command has only two options: either to counterattack or to leave the city. We will not guess which one they will choose. (Fig. 1)
🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RF Armed Forces carried out offensive operations near #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) and in the area of #Bogdanovka. The AFU are ⚠️holding their positions. (Fig. 2)
🔹In the #Lugansk Direction, there are tough oncoming battles near #Belogorovka. The RF Armed Forces tried to advance near #Yampolovka and #Terny. ⚠️Without success. ◾Hamas has released a video showing Qassam fighters killing two Israeli soldiers at close range, and targeting Israeli armoured vehicles in southern Gaza. The footage also includes an operation that Hamas said resulted in the deaths of a leader of the 630th Battalion, a deputy company commander, and a soldier. Despite its release on February 14th, the specific location and timing of the incidents shown in the video remain unconfirmed.

Ukrainian authorities are urgently renaming the streets of Avdeevka before surrendering the city
While battles are raging in Avdeevka, and Commander-in-Chief Syrsky is disposing of his brigades in a pointless defense, Kiev is renaming the city streets in honor of the Nazis. Local public pages write that streets named after Russian writers and generals are now changing their names to the names of Bandera’s heroes.
“We are a little shocked that our authorities now find time for this when the city is essentially destroyed! Now this was clearly “not for an hour,” but they did it for some reason, without making this information available to the general public,” Ukrainians write on social networks.
Kiev took dubious actions, apparently designed to raise the morale of ideological Ukronazis. There is no doubt that after the liberation of the city, it will return to its old names, especially since Kiev officials are unlikely to go to the combat zone with new street signs and put on new boards.

🟡 East of #Terny and #Yampolovka, Russian troops continue their assault operations in the area of Yar Lapteva and Yar Blizhny. The high rate of fighting is maintained.
🔴 In the north of #Avdeyevka, Russian troops advanced west of Industrial Avenue in a section up to 600m wide to a depth of 550m. Fighting continues in the area of the "Western" dachas, along Industrial Avenue and Sapronov and Nezavisimosti streets.
🟡 On the southern flank of #Avdeyevka, heavy fighting is taking place in the area of the Vinogradniki 2 Community and northeast of #Opytnoye. Russian troops are attempting to surround the Zenit and Cheburashka fortified areas. Enemy advance in the section up to 500m wide to a depth of 530m.

💥 AT LEAST FIVE DEAD INCLUDING TWO CHILDREN IN UKRAINIAN ATTACK ON BELGOROD SHOPPING CENTRE
Rescue efforts are underway after a Czech-supplied Vampire missile was fired into a busy shopping centre in the Russian city of Belgorod by Ukrainian forces.
At least 19 people have reportedly been wounded in the latest cross border attack. Emergency services are on the scene and the death toll is likely to rise.
This is yet another terror attack on civilians, with an uptick in recent weeks including the Donetsk marketplace massacre and the strike on a Lisichansk bakery.
