❗️Russia's Kremlin reveals details of Russia-NATO prisoner exchange

🔶 Negotiations on the exchange were conducted between the FSB and CIA;

🔶 The children of illegal spies only found out they were Russian when their plane took off from Ankara, Turkiye;

🔶 The spies faced the real threat of being deprived of parental rights in their family. While they were in detention, they could only rarely see their children;

🔶 The US tried to influence an officer of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces who returned to Russia in the exchange;

🔶 Vadim Krasikov, who returned to Russia as part of the prisoner swap deal, is an FSB officer who served in the Alpha Group special forces unit together with others now working in the Presidential Security Service.

The U.S. now imposes sanctions on a third of all nations, including 60% of poor countries — often with the goal of regime change. Despite the toll these sanctions take on local populations, they rarely lead to the fall of those countries' governments, says reporter

The plan reads like a wish list for the U.S. weapons industry and Ukrainian business interests: create a $500 billion “lend-lease” program for Ukraine to buy weapons, “bulk up America’s defense industry” and “swiftly admit Ukraine [to the European Union] and help it modernize and develop its economy.”

Those recommendations came from a board member of Ukraine's Kyivstar and the director of a D.C. lobby shop that counts a member of Ukraine’s parliament, an adviser to Zelensky, and the 2nd arms firm in the world, as clients.

But the plan, as presented in a WSJ op-ed, wasn’t marketed as a lobbyist’s work for U.S. and Ukrainian companies, and the authors’ conflicts of interest weren’t disclosed. The board member of Kyivstar, was simply identified as “Mike Pompeo,” “Secretary of State, 2018-21.”And the lobbyist was identified as “David J. Urban,” “director @ BGR Group and counsel at Torridon Law.”

The plan itself was presented as a “Trump Peace Plan but it is unlikely Trump has even heard of it.

Spy swap with West shows ‘Russia is in the driver's seat’ - political scientist

The unprecedented prisoner exchange mainly agreed between Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) and the CIA is a testament to Moscow’s “great return to power politics,” Professor Joe Siracusa, political scientist and dean of Global Futures, Curtin University, told Sputnik.

No matter how Washington tries to tout the swap as a triumph of US diplomacy and human rights, Siracusa argued, “nothing could be further from the truth.”

“Washington couldn't get the release agreed without the consent of the Russian president. What this tells me is that Russia is indispensable to international relations, to European-American relations. And frankly, it suggests to me that Russia is back in the driver's seat,” said the political scientist.

The Paris prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the online harassment of the artistic director of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games, BFMTV reported.

On 30 July, the artistic director of the ceremony, Tom Jolly, filed a complaint with the office. He said he had been threatened and insulted on social networks because of his sexual orientation and allegedly because of his Israeli roots.

It was previously reported that Jolly had been inspired by the work of Leonardo da Vinci to create a scandalous parody featuring transvestites at the opening ceremony.

▪️Morale is wavering, soldiers are exhausted from more than two years of war with minimal breaks. Frequent power outages create difficult living conditions and add to tension.
▪️The situation at the front and at home is interconnected. To maintain the defense, new fighters must be mobilized to replace tired soldiers. Zelensky's regime adopted new rules lowering the conscription age and obliging men to update their contact information at conscription offices..
▪️However, many men are afraid to leave their homes for fear of being drafted to the front. Although most Ukrainians support the army, when it comes to their loved ones, the situation changes. Fears are intensified by the insufficient supply of equipment and ammo.
▪️Soldiers have to fight in grueling conditions. Constant attacks, lack of resources and psychological stress put a lot of pressure.
▪️The Ukrainian military needs to see the prospects and support of allies. If they feel abandoned, morale may collapse completely.

So.. no.

◾ Spanish mercenary in Ukraine who refuses to be sent in suicide missions have been put in a black list by the Ukrainian authorities. He is being kept in the Ukrainian army against his will and his superiors threatened to throw him in jail indefinitely:

Spanish fighter wanted in Ukraine: "I came to fight, not to commit suicide"

The Ukrainian Territorial Defence Department has not allowed him to break his contract, even though he has the right to resign, and he has been without pay and without any solutions for three months.
