Algeria called an urgent UN Security Council meeting on Tuesday after an Israeli strike killed 45 people at a tent camp in Rafah for displaced people on Sunday, drawing international condemnation.
The draft resolution, which draws on last week's ruling by the International Court of Justice, "decides that Israel, the occupying power, shall immediately halt its military offensive and any other action in Rafah."
It also "demands an immediate ceasefire respected by all parties, and also demands the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages," according to a draft text seen by AFP.
However, Algeria's UN Ambassador, Amar Bendjama, has not specified when he hopes to put the draft resolution to a vote.

Here’s a brief historical refresher for the young and not-so-well-informed:
In 1721, the future Russian Federation, having triumphed in the Great Northern War, bought Latvians and Estonians from the Swedes (who considered them second-class citizens anyway) for roughly 56 tons of silver, which wasn’t exactly cheap.
Along with this deal, Russia also acquired parts of Karelia, Vyborg, and the southern parts of future Leningrad region.
Russia then went on to become an empire with an army, navy, nuclear technology, and a space program, while Sweden, in turn, started assembling cheap furniture and playing hockey (they've been trying to learn how to skate since Alexander Nevsky's time, as it was proven to be crucial for their national survival).
And now, judging by the recent statements from their president Karis, the Estonians, who were bought three hundred years ago, are once again in need of some warranty service.

21 year old Samir Hamdawi, who moved to France from Algeria to attend university, was arrested by French police during a student rally in support of Palestine that took place on May 7.
The young man was brutally beaten in the police station and died 2 days later.

🇷🇺 The RFAF advanced in the area of #Netaylovo northwards towards #Yasnobrodovka.
🔵 Situation in the area that has high fighting intensity:
🟡 To the north is #Yasnobrodovka which boundaries are wrong on map. They are a bit further to the west beyond the water barrier. Fighting towards the outskirts. Further north is #Umanskoye, from where the RFAF are also advancing.
🟡 #Netaylovo itself, is confirmed taken and left by the AFU.
🟡 To the west is #Karlovka. It is reported that the RFAF are advancing from #Netaylovo towards the Reservoir and the edge of the village. According to unconfirmed reports, they already entered the eastern outskirts.
🟡 To the south, out of map, is the AFU controlled #Nevelskoye. The RFAF are present at the village, from where they had been driven out (after 50% control). The RFAF advancing also from #Pervomayskoye (west of #Netaylovo on map) slowly but steady towards the nest.

Teens, cannabis and psychosis
A new study from the University of Toronto found - teens who use marijuana are 11 times more at risk of psychotic disorders in comparison to non users. And before using, these teens did not have a predisposition to mental health disorders.
Increased risk relates to the development of the brain at different stages of life. And delays in cannabis use until 20 years of age reduce serious health risks.
Another study found: marijuana addiction increases the occurrence of bipolar disorder fourfold and depression twofold.
There is no way to discourage teenagers from using marijuana. But maybe it would make sense to ban it so it's a couple times harder to get?
