Les Wexner, Ohio's richest man and founder of brands like Victoria's Secret and Abercrombie & Fitch, appears in a July 2019 FBI email thread seeking updates on 10 alleged co-conspirators.

These files were released under a congressional mandate, with much content blacked out. In one email, an FBI New York agent asks for status on the co-conspirators, including references to Jean-Luc Brunel and Ghislaine Maxwell.

A reply notes uncertainty about contacting Wexner in Ohio, while another from the Violent Crimes Section mentions attempting to subpoena a "wealthy businessman in Ohio."

Wexner's influence extends to Columbus, where his New Albany Company spurred development and his name adorns Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center.

Wexner's representative stated he was never a co-conspirator or target, cooperated fully with investigators, and provided background on Epstein, whom he hired as a financial advisor in the late 1980s despite warnings.

Epstein allegedly siphoned Wexner's wealth until mid-2007, even after Florida charges. Wexner cut ties post-charges, though records show ongoing financial links. He now chairs OSU's Wexner Medical Center board but skipped a recent meeting amid a lawsuit seeking his deposition.
